The first steps to environmental consciousness began with our print technology, migrating to a latex ink solution because of its green aspects, eliminating VOCs (volatile organic compounds). This initiative started in our desire to improve the environmental quality of our production floor, eliminating the intensely off-putting odor of solvent inks. Moving to this platform also ensures the final artwork does not carry a residual scent as it hangs on the wall.
In contrast to sourcing and transporting materials from overseas, such as moulding, our commitment to acquire American-made materials dramatically reduces the carbon expenditure. Moreover, when the project specifies strict environmental parameters, our strong relationships with specialty manufacturers will lessen the fiscal impact inherent in many green building projects.
